How Do They Work?
Solar pool heaters typically work off a system that uses solar panels to collect energy which then heats the water in collection areas. Water is pumped and filtered between the collection areas and back into the pool. You’ll still have the features you’ve come to expect, like precise digital temperature control of your pool water.

Solar hybrid systems give you the best of both worlds.

• These systems use both solar and conventional (gas or electric) heating systems.
• A temperature monitor gauges the temperatures of a solar collection area and the pool water.
• When conditions are right, it diverts the water flow to the solar system.
• The gas or electric heater only kicks in when solar energy isn’t available.
